B2 active recall workflow

Goal

Build quick B2 lexical recall for writing and speaking tasks.

Workflow

1. Select 8 target words.
2. Create 8 one-line definitions (in simple German).
3. Write 4 example sentences.
4. Produce 1 short paragraph.
5. Speak 60 seconds without notes.

Retrieval challenge

After 24 hours, redo step 5 only.
After 72 hours, redo full workflow with new context.

Error logging

Track:

• forgotten words
• wrong collocations
• wrong register usage

Tip

Active recall is effective only when retrieval is effortful and repeated over time.
