Agreement phrases

• Genau so sehe ich das. = exactly, I see it the same way
• Stimmt. = true
• Da hast du recht. = you’re right

Soft disagreement phrases

• Nicht ganz. = not exactly
• Sehe ich etwas anders. = I see it a bit differently
• Kommt drauf an. = it depends

Stronger informal disagreement

• Finde ich nicht. = I don’t think so
• Eher nicht. = rather not

Mini dialogue

A: "Online-Unterricht ist immer besser."
B: "Kommt drauf an. Für manche Fächer ja, aber nicht für alle."
A: "Okay, da hast du recht."

Register note

For formal contexts, use neutral versions:

• Finde ich nicht -> Dem würde ich nicht vollständig zustimmen

Writing tip

Disagreement sounds more natural and polite when you add one short reason after the phrase.
