Situation: Plan a weekend activity with a partner.
You must:

  1. make a suggestion
  2. react to partner concern
  3. find a compromise
  4. agree on final plan

Model dialogue

A: Ich schlage vor, dass wir am Samstag ins Museum gehen.
B: Gute Idee, aber ich kann erst am Nachmittag.
A: Kein Problem. Dann treffen wir uns um 15 Uhr.
B: Passt. Danach könnten wir noch etwas essen gehen.
A: Sehr gern. Dann machen wir es so.

Variant response

If budget is limited: B: Das Museum ist mir etwas zu teuer.
A: Dann könnten wir stattdessen in den Park gehen.

Correction notes

  • Good: reacts to partner, not just monologue
  • Improve: add one reason for each suggestion
  • Key check: final agreement must be explicit
