Common B2 task profile

You are asked to discuss a social/educational/work-related topic and present a reasoned position.

Suggested timing (45-55 minutes total)

• 7 min: decode prompt and define thesis
• 8 min: plan paragraph logic and examples
• 25-30 min: write
• 8-10 min: revise for coherence and tone

B2 four-part template

1. Framing intro: context + thesis scope

Argument quality boosters

• Add one concrete scenario for each major claim.
• State one limitation explicitly.
• Use conditional language to avoid overgeneralization.
