At C1 level, weak introductions and conclusions can reduce the impact of otherwise strong content.
A good introduction defines scope and angle; a good conclusion synthesizes, not repeats.

Strong introduction elements

1. Context sentence (why the topic matters now)
2. Focus sentence (what exactly you discuss)
3. Position or thesis (your analytical direction)

Strong conclusion elements

1. Synthesis of key points
2. Clear evaluative statement
3. Optional forward-looking implication
